WILLIAM "BILL" TRINDER Surrounded by family, William (Bill) James Trinder passed away on Sunday May 11, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital. Bill was born September 3, 1914 at Lowe Farm, MB. He will be deeply missed by his wife Olive of 62 years; daughter Sharon (Terry) son John (Linda) stepmother Lena Trinder; sister Lucy; brother Everett (Florence) and brother-in-law Chris Dalman; also grandchildren, Scott (Giovanna), Shannon, Tammy, Shawn and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Baker; father John Trinder; sister Doris, sister Helen (Robert) brother Buster (Penny) brother-in-law Keith Johnston. Bill served five proud years in the Armed Forces, 4th field Park Regiment in Italy, Normandy, Holland and France. Bill worked with Manitoba Pool Elevator Co. from 1949 to 1974. While with the company, he served in rural communities as a grain buyer before coming into the Winnipeg office until retirement. During retirement, he continued to enjoy hunting, fishing, bird watching, gardening and nature. The family would like to thank the family physician Dr. Martens, the emergency staff at the Concordia Hospital and the I.C.U. staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their care and assistance. A celebration of Bills life will begin at St. Stephens Anglican Church at 220 Helmsdale Ave. East Kildonan on Friday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. Interment and reception to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the M.S. Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Stephens Anglican Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice in his name.
