FREDA CARLSON Freda Carlson, aged 94 years, beloved wife of the late Charles Carlson, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends; daughters, Shirley Fuhl of Steinbach, Eileen Langan of Winnipeg, Diana Bailey of Winnipeg; son Floyd Carlson (Roberta) of Pinawa; daughter Violet Scott (Ken) of Winnipeg; son Leslie Carlson of Lac du Bonnet; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles; her son Eric; also sons-in-law, Larry Langan, Fred Bailey and Wilfred Fuhl; her four sisters and one brother. Mom loved gardening, crafts, animals and visiting with people. In her later years, she travelled visiting with her family and vacationing throughout Canada and the United States by bus. She was the best cook in the country and made delicious meals from almost nothing. She was well known for her cinnamon rolls. There will be viewing on Thursday, May 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E. Beausejour. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with viewing prior to the service. Pastor Ingthor Isfeld will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Lac du Bonnet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her six grandsons.
