STEFAN FUZ December 25, 1914- May 12, 2003 Suddenly on Monday, May 12, 2003, Stefan Fuz passed away at his residence, at the age of 88 years. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 64 years, Julianna; sons, Steven (Jean) of St. Andrews, MB, Percy (Beverly) of Arborg, MB; daughter Julia (Patrick) Gulay of Arborg, MB. Gido will be missed by his grandchildren, Jason (Kirstin), Christopher, Clinton, Tyler, Daryl (Sabrina), Jeffrey Fuz, Lori (Trevor), Gard, Jaclyn, Janelle Gulay; great-grandchildren, Byron, Alex, Jaden, Jasper, Cody and Summer. Stefan is also survived by brothers, Tony and Mike; sisters, Pearl, Mary, Marge and Joyce. Stefan was predeceased by one sister Ann. Stefan was born in Poplarfield, MB on December 25, 1914. He was adventurous, determined and had a great love for the outdoors. He worked in a bush camp and a mine, later farmed before retiring to Winnipeg. He also was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with Fr. David Kowalski officiating. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stefans memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of ones choice.
