MARIA (MARY) VAN DE KEERE Peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 Mary passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 77 years. Mary is survived by son Robert (Marie) and their children, Lindsey and Nicole; daughter Bonnie (Ken) Normand from St. Adolphe and their children, Darcy (Craig) Baker and David (Shari). Mary is also survived by sisters-in-law, Erma Loeppky, Elsie (Adolphe) Polanski, Yvonne Van De Keere, Helen Van De Keere and Mary Van De Keere; and brother-in-law Charlie (Liz) Van De Keere; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by husband Julien; parents, Magdelana and Felix Deswarte. Mary grew up in St. Boniface and lived there all her life. She worked as a hairdresser for many years at Eatons and Claras. She enjoyed socializing at the Norwood Legion and will be missed by her friends. A special thanks to all her home care professionals who helped keep Mary at home. Also a special thank you to the staff on 4E and Palliative Care ward at the St. Boniface Hospital for all their care of Mary over the last two years. Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. in P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Interment will follow in Belgian Sacred Heart Cemetery.
