JOHN WOZNY John Wozny passed away at the age of 89 years on May 13, 2003 at Grace General Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife Jean; children, Bert and Leslie Wozny and daughter Geraldine (Geri) Campbell; grandchildren, David (Colleen) Wozny, Darren (Cheryl) Wozny, Beverlee (Lloyd) Huys, Jennifer Campbell, Audra Campbell and Steven Kolesar; and great-grandchildren, Lisa and Brandi-Lee Huys. John is also survived by one brother Michael Wozny; brother-in-law Borden Biggar; and many nieces and nephews. John was employed as a blacksmith for 47 years at CPR. He was a past member of the Winnipeg Flying Club, having achieved his pilots license at the age of 57. His automotive mechanical expertise was appreciated by his many customers. John was most proud of his family - his beloved wife Jeannie, his children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their thanks to West Park Manor, especially his nurse Ollie and the doctors and staff of the Grace General Hospital, and special thanks goes to Gloria Wozny for her care and support. Prayer service will be held on Friday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m., also at Glen Eden. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Grace General Hospital.
