Her parents (deceased) dad, Stephen Bodnaruk and mom, Malvino (nee Zwaricz) raised seven girls and two boys on a little farm in Mikado. Betty loved growing up on the farm, helping with many chores and running and playing in the meadows. She attended McKay School in the Bowsman area. After attending school, Betty moved to Minnedosa, MB to live with her sister, Nellie Stahan. Betty married Ken Worth in 1946 and they made their home in Newdale, MB. They were blessed with four children; Keith, Carol, Sheila, and Maureen. Betty later moved to Minnedosa to work as a manager and cook. While in Minnedosa, she married Ernest Montgomery in 1978. Ernie passed away from Parkinsons in 1996. Betty became friends with Bill Campbell and they were married in Minnedosa in 1998. Having a lot in common, they did much for others in the Minnedosa community. They also enjoyed bowling and singing with the Mary Hearts Choir. Betty was a member of the Legion Auxiliary. She loved belonging to the Search & Rescue organization and participating in the Reenactment of the North West Mounted Police historic activities. She was a longtime supporter and participated in the Horticultural Society.
