LESLIE NORMAN WEISS Strong-willed and independent in life, illness could not rob him of his character. Suddenly and unexpectedly, on May 14, 2003 Leslie Norman Weiss left us. Born May 19, 1932, he was predeceased by his parents, William and Matilda (Steffan) and his sister Esther (Harris). He will be forever loved by his wife of 48 years, Ann; his children, Janet Weiss-Townsend (Philip - Cameron and Jay), Susan Williams (Stewart - Todd, Kyle and Andrea), Norman (Debra - Samantha and Marie-Helene) and Lee-Ann Cooley (Norman - Ryan, Eric and Kaitlin). The youngest of his family, he leaves behind his sisters, Deena Gaudhe (Wendy and Donna), Amy Thompson (Lloyd - Diane), Anne Barnes (Carol), Doreen Braiden (Tommy - Colleen and Tammy) and his brother Elmer (Irene - Gary). Retired from the Winnipeg Transit where he worked for 33 years, Les enjoyed spending his time at their trailer in Petersfield. It was his wish that there be no funeral service.
