WILLIAM GEORGE COURCHENE September 2, 1934 - May 14, 2003 Suddenly at the age of 68 years our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle went to be with our Creator. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Harold (Brenda), Glen (Gabriel), Marina, Sally, Anna, Theresa (Murray), Francene (Dennis), Tommy (Tamara), Gary (Millie), Desmond (Cheryl), Clifton (Melissa) as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. William was predeceased by his beloved wife Virginia Courchene (nee Everett) son Gordon and by his parents, Joseph and Agnes Courchene; brothers, Purvis, Albert, George, Basil and a sister Joyce Bushie; his grandsons, Sklyer Courchene and Tyler Everett. William was a very caring and loving person who loved his children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. William was very well known for his skills as a fisherman, his sense of humour and good story telling. He was also most outstandingly known for his devotion to his children and four great-grandchildren. William will be sadly missed by all. His journey has come to an end. Hes now with our Creator and is with his loved ones who have gone before him. Hes now resting in a peaceful place. He will be remembered for many things and he leaves behind many memories. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Pine Falls Hospital for making his stay comfortable during his last days. Wake services will be held at the family home, South Shore, Ft. Alexander, MB. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May, 19 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Alexander R.C. Church, Ft. Alexander, MB. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Courchene, Wilfred Courchene, Garrett Courchene, Joey Laforte, Robert Courchene, Harold Everette, Clifton Courchene and Jeff Bushie.
