Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARENCE GEORGE EDWARDS On Thursday, May 15, 2003 at the Lions Manor Personal Care Centre, Clarence Edwards, beloved husband of Phyllis passed away at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Phyllis; children Dave (Doreen), Cliff (Esther) and Lois; grandchildren Karen, Brenda, Pam, Greg, Kerry, Steve, Gail, Brian, Maryann and Chris; five great-grandchildren and his sister Grace. Dad was born and lived his entire life in Winnipeg. He enjoyed skiing, cycling, tennis, playing cribbage with family and friends and spent many hours walking. Clarence and Phyllis spent many wonderful summers at their sons cottage at Ponemah and loved to visit their other two children and their families in Vancouver and Langley. Clarence worked for the Winnipeg Parks Board and was manager of the Wallace and Wallace store on Nairn Avenue. The family wishes to thank the Lions Manor Personal Care Centre staff and nurses for their compassionate care of "Pops". A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20 on the main floor of the Lions Manor Personal Care Centre, 320 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
