SIMONNE HEBERT (GERVAIS) (nee CHARBONNEAU) Peacefully, on Thursday, May 15, 2003, with her family by her side, Simonne Hebert passed away at the Tache Centre at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edouard Gervais in 1968 and by her second husband, Emile Hebert in 1979. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Lucille in 2000. She will be sadly missed by her four sons, Fernand (Denise), Ernest (Mariette), Gilbert (Pauline) and Rene (Pat) Gervais; five daughters, Jeannette (Robert) Vansteeland, Yvette (Laurent) Houde, Simone (Ray) Lambert, Claudette (Phillip) Lheureux, and Doris (Ted) Thorimbert, as well as 50 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. The family extends special thanks to the staff at the Tache Centre for the excellent care they gave Mom. As per Simonnes wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Paul Campeau at the St. Boniface Cathedral on Wednesday, May 21, at 10:30 a.m. Interment of Simonnes cremated remains will take place in the St. Boniface Cemetery following the mass.
