Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMALCOLM (MAC) KEITH McKINNON Malcolm (Mac) K. McKinnon passed away in Thunder Bay, ON, on the morning of Friday, April 18, 2003 with wife Joyce and friend, Gerri Sutton, at his side. Born and raised in The Pas, MB, Mac married Joyce (Forster) April 5, 1958. Their early married life was spent in Winnipeg where Mac began a 38 year career in the insurance business (Phoenix of London). Mac and Joyce started their family in 1962 and they moved to Thunder Bay in 1973. Well known on the local insurance scene, Mac also loved to spend time with family and friends. Special memories were created camping, hiking, cross country skiing, and canoeing together. Most special were the times spent together at "the lake" - a family property on Clearwater Lake near The Pas. Trips up to the lake started in 1964 and Mac made his last trip up in the summer of 2002. All of the children, and now the grandchildren, have grown up knowing summers at the lake. Mac is survived, and greatly missed, by wife Joyce; daughter Carri and family (Martin, Keith and Erik Lelliott, Bienfait, SK), daughter Kristin and fiance (Bruce Rutherford, Pontypool, ON), son Kyle and family (Shannon Keetch and Stacey, Winnipeg) and sister Loreen (Bill McMillan, Dauphin, MB). Mac was predeceased by his youngest son Ryan, in 1991. Donations can be made in Macs memory to the Parkinsons Society Canada www.parkinson.ca or the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital Foundation www.tbrh.net/ThunderBay/Tbrhfound.htm
