JEANNE RENARD (nee LOUIS) Peacefully with her family at her side, Jeanne Renard (Louis) a resident of Lions Prairie Manor, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at the Portage General Hospital at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles; parents, Emile Louis and Ida Audestere; son Paul in 1983; sisters, Josephine, Julia, Regine, Sister Suzanne; and special friend Kay Nickels in 1990. Jeanne is survived by children, Anita (Paul) Shepherd of Winnipeg, Cecile (Lloyd) Maloncy of Portage, Pauline (Robert) Debusshere of Portage; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Eva Morrison. Rosary, followed by prayers will be held on Monday, May 19, 7:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Portage la Prairie with Deacon Bill Parrock officiating. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Portage la Prairie with Fr. Michael Wollbaum officiating. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in memory of Jeanne to the Good Shepherd Building Fund or Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Jeanne by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements. 857-4021.
