RITA (ARONOFF) (ISRAELS) SONNER Rita (Aronoff) (Israels) Sonner, born August 13, 1921 in Halifax, NS, died on May 11, 2003 in Vancouver, BC after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her first husband Dr. Sydney Israels in 1978. Survived by her second husband Eric Sonner of Vancouver; sister Evelyn Kitterman of West Hills, CA; half-brother, Louis Rosenbeg of Paxton, MA; daughters, Carla Levinson (Ben) of Victoria, Sheri Israels (Geoffrey Butcher) of Saltspring Island; grandchildren, Amy Levinson of Vancouver, and David Levinson (Urania) of Victoria; and great grandchildren, Zachary and Eden Levinson.
