PHYLLIS PILLING FORD (nee GAUNT) It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Phyllis. After a lengthy illness, Phyllis passed away on May 9, 2003 at MSA Hospital with her family at her side. Phyllis was born in Winnipeg, MB, and completed her Education and received her degree in Administrative Assistance. Phyllis retired from the Health Sciences Centre after 39 years of dedicated service. She is survived by Raymond, her beloved husband of 18 years and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Pilling of 32 years; mother and father, William and Nellie Gaunt; her brothers, Joe and Leonard; sisters, Alice, Beryl and Bernice. Phyllis was the past president and past secretary of the MSA Golden Kiwanis Club of Abbotsford. She was also very active at the Abbotsford Food Bank. Phyllis was a strong and dynamic woman who supported her local community affairs and loved to use her abilities to help others. There will be a celebration of Phyllis life at the Sparling United Church Hall on May 27 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice or the Sparling United Church, in memory of Phyllis.
