MARGARET E. JOHNS 1922-2003 Margaret passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Namer and sister-in-laws, Penny and Sadie and sisters, Libby Hughes, Rose Kolish and Irene Johns and brother-in-laws, Laurie Hughes, Joseph Kolish and Amie Hogue. She is survived by her sister, Louise Hogue and her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Margaret was a special lady. She was well liked by everyone of all ages. She was a caring person always looking after one of her relatives whether it was her nieces as they were growing up or her siblings as they became ill. She missed her younger sister very much. Margaret was born and raised in Winnipeg and started her career as a comptometer operator at McDonald Dure Ltd., then Acklands and finally at Modern Dairies where she retired in 1987. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the Intensive Care Unit of the Seven Oaks Hospital. Margaret has been cremated followed by a private family service. A mass to celebrate her life will be held at a later date at St. Theresas Church.
