Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySALLY KOZAK (KOMAR) On Friday, May 16, 2003 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Sally Kozak, aged 72 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She is survived by her daughter Angie, husband Dan and granddaughter Tiana Halabura. She also leaves to mourn her sister Ollie Klowak; nephew Steve (Arlene) Klowak; great-nephews, Chad (fiance Sarah Van Gorp) and Kevin; niece Joanne (Wade) McMahon; great-nieces, Shawna and Jenna; and cousin Ollie (Mike) Zarzycki. She was predeceased by her husband George; and her parents, Joseph and Katherine Komar. Sally was born May 1, 1931 in Winnipeg. She was a dental assistant for 10 years and later left her job at K-Mart to care for her mother until her passing in 1989. She enjoyed bowling, but most of all she loved football, NEVER missing a Bomber game. Sally was a long time member and past president of the AUUC Winnipeg Mandolin Orchestra, and also donated her time at Folklorama. She loved get togethers with family and friends, especially at Falcon Lake. Her greatest joy and most precious moments were spent babysitting her granddaughter Tiana, whom she always called Babas precious Dolly. Sally touched many lives, and will always be remembered for her advice and care-giving abilities, wonderful sense of humour and quick wit. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Tsang and Vera and the Doctors and ICU staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Father Walter Klimchuk officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
