LEONARD WALKER Peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, Leonard Walker of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 89 years. Leonard is survived by his four sons, Dan (Elizabeth), Ken (Lois) of Winnipeg, Rick (Wendy) of Canmore, AB, Brent (Glenora) of Surrey, BC, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes and his brother Edward. Leonard was born in Leslie, SK in 1913. He was employed by Acklands Ltd. as controller and auditor for many years. After his retirement he spent many enjoyable hours helping out at the Tool Exchange. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
