STEVEN MOSHENKO Peacefully on May 16, 2003, Steven, beloved husband of Gwendolyn, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 75. Steven is survived by his wife Gwen, of over 48 years; daughter Susan (Rick) Law; and grandchildren, Greg and James. He is also survived by brothers, Dmetro and Mike (Ann) sisters, Bessie Rak and Minnie Kapustik, all of Ontario, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Steven was predeceased by his parents Frances and Josef; brothers, Billy, Paul and John; and sisters, Mary Zdan, Annie Yenko and Nellie Columbus. Steven was born on December 8, 1927 in Garland, MB. He worked most of his life in the retail grocery business and retired in 1989 from Westfair Foods. Steven was very proud of his Ukrainian heritage and took great pride in his grandsons Ukrainian dancing. He especially enjoyed keeping up with the current events in the Ukraine. Steven also took great pride in his flower gardens. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with Rev. Deacon Nick Kohuch officiating. Interment will follow in the Serenity Columbarium of Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stevens memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
