"He is yours, Dear Lord, and we give him back, but its oh so hard to do. There are always things that were left undone, Yes, if we only knew. You see, Dear Lord, we remember his smile, his touch and his caring ways. His love for people, his zest for life, he brightened our lives and our days. Please give him, Dear Lord, a special place, Where there is no need for a tear, Peace and comfort, he deserves, Because he sure was a treasure down here. We are hurting, Dear Lord, at his passing on, Though we know you will carry us through. And its a joy to know he will have no pain, That forever hell be with you."
