MARY CHAMPAGNE 1915 - 2003 On Sunday, May 18, 2003 at the Desalaberry District Health Center, in St. Pierre Jolys, MB, Mary Champagne, with her family by her side, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by one daughter Janice (Miriam) Champagne; and sons, Micah and Joshua of Toronto, ON; two sons, Wayne (Sharon) Champagne and children, Jason, Christina, Jeffery, Robert, Katherine, Kimberley, all of Winnipeg; Don Champagne and son Christopher also of Winnipeg; two great-grandchildren, Felicia and Anabelle; three sisters and two brothers and their families; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by one grandson, Michael Andrew Champagne. Thanks to Dr. Abott; the attending staff at St. Pierre Joly, and special thanks to the home care workers, Mary Kehler, Agatha Dueck and Helen Falk for all their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24, at 1:30 p.m. at the Chortizer Mennonite Community Church, Niverville, MB with Pastor Rod Giesbrecht officiating. Interment to follow at the Hiebert Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 23 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Winnipeg, MB from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at Chortizer Mennonite Community Church on Saturday. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, ON 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB. R3E 0V9.
