ROSEANNE WRIGHT The family of Roseanne Wright announce her quiet passing on May 21, 2003. Roseanne is survived by sons, John David and Timothy James and wife Shannon, children, Caitlin and Casey of Winnipeg, daughter Rosemarie Andrea, son-in-law Ken Cook, grandchildren, Andrew and Amanda Cook of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Roseanne was born March 1, 1912 in Winnipeg and had resided in the same home until February 2001 when she took residence at Charleswood Care Center. After her retirement in 1972, mom spent summers at her beloved cottage at Gull Lake where she was known to many as "Auntie Rose". Mom was always the happiest when there was a rainbow of beach towels hanging on the line. Her passion for children was shown in the "concerts" held in her yard, her box of comic books in the cupboard and Jell-O in the fridge. Mom used any opportunity to advance her learning by attending university in the winter for over ten years and travelled extensively with family and friends. Always ready for a card game or a cup of tea, mom will be missed by her family. Graveside service will be held Monday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. Brookside cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
