GISELE VALLEE (MORIN)

GISELE VALLEE (nee MORIN) Peacefully on May 17, 2003 at St. Boniface General Hospital, Gisele Vallee passed away in her sleep at the age of 91 years. She leaves in loving memory a daughter Huguette; and a son Armand (Anita) grandchildren, Paul (Lissette), Marc (Cindy), Carole (Joel) Rondeau, Michael (Kathy), Allen and nine great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Charles in 1969; and by a daughter-in-law Helene (Chaput) Vallee; also by four brothers and a sister. Mom loved children, and we remember the many foster children she was asked to take care of for many years. Our mother was born in Mariapolis, MB and at an early age her family move to Saskatchewan where she met and married Charles Vallee. They built a log cabin and started their lives on a homestead. But many years of drought and the Great Depression saw them move to Manitoba in 1940. A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road with Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. A special thanks to the staff at Tache Nursing Centre and St. Boniface General Hospital.
