SUE WALLACE 1949 - 2003 Peacefully, on May 22, 2003 with her family by her side, Sue Wallace passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Ward, and her two children, Wade and Wendy. She is also survived by her father Art and brothers, Terry, Don, Tom and Steven. Born in Thunder Bay, ON she grew up on Air Force bases throughout Canada and Europe. In 1970 she settled in Pinawa and became an active member of the community. She enjoyed curling, gardening, bowling, golfing, musical events and cherished her friendships. Sue was a strong courageous woman who always put the needs of others above her own. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and her sense of humour. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pinawa Lutheran Church with Rev. Rob Murray officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Pinawa hospital, CancerCare Manitoba, and the Palliative Care Ward at the St. Boniface Hospital.
