Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET TWIST (CORMACK) Peacefully on May 24, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Margaret passed away three days prior to her ninetieth birthday. She will be lovingly remembered by her son David and daughter-in-law Pam Cormack; granddaughter Cheryl (Derek) Christian; grandson Ryan Cormack; brother Gary and sister-in-law Arlene Bradley and their family; niece Cathy (Mike) Luciw; nephew Lyall McQueen and his fiancee Shari Mickleborough and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. Her special friend Laurene Hinds will also miss her. Margaret was predeceased by her sister Mary in February of 1992. Margaret Halstead Bradley was born in Winnipeg, May 27, 1913 and lived in Winnipeg most of her life. In 1946, after living in Saskatoon for six years, she moved to Middlechurch, MB with her husband Norman Cormack. Here they built their house and became part of the community. She curled at West St. Paul curling club with neighbours and friends and always made time to lend a hand. She also enjoyed bowling and swimming. Margaret was a long time member and supporter of St. Pauls Anglican Church, Middlechurch. Her first husband Norman Cormack predeceased her in 1971. Margaret was employed by W.G. McMahon Ltd. for 27 years, retiring in 1977 when she married Norman Twist. They both enjoyed travelling and spending time on their porch, watching the boats go by. Norman passed away in April of 1989. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Margarets life on Wednesday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pauls Anglican Church, 299 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul, MB R4A 4A5. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margarets name to the St. Pauls Anglican Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice. A special thank you to Dr. Les Ullyot for his care and kindness over the years and to all the home care workers, especially Pat and Lisa, for enabling Mom to remain in her own home in her latter years.
