Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAMUEL ROBERT BALL Bob Ball, beloved husband of Jean Mildred Ball, died peacefully in his sleep, at the age of 78, on May 25, 2003 after an extended illness. Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean; her four children, Myrna, Ival, David and Keith; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three brothers, Joe, Jimmy and Charles and three sisters, May, Emma and Flo. He was predeceased by his sister Phoebe. Bob was a long time resident of St. Vital having retired from the Canadian National Railway and later worked in Real Estate for Royal LePage. Bob was an enthusiastic golfer, curler and enjoyed the outdoors. Over the years he spent many good fishing and camping trips on the lakes in Manitoba and Ontario. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St. in St. Vital. Interment in St. Vital Cemetery with immediate family. If friends so desire, donations may be made to either the Canadian Liver Foundation, P.O. Box 1943, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2; Alzheimers Society, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or a charity of ones choice.
