Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER CHAMBERS February 1, 1918 - May 17, 2003 Walter passed away May 17, 2003 in Boca Raton, FL. Born in Arborg, MB Walter moved to Detroit, MI after finishing high school. He studied tool and die and auto design engineering at Ford Institute. During the Second World War, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Returning to Arborg after the war, Walter was in partnership with his brother Stephen in farm implement business for 10 years. He later started a successful real estate business in Detroit. Walter retired to Florida 25 years ago. He is survived by his wife Catherine; children, Diana, Walter, Robert; and brother Stephen of Winnipeg. A memorial service was held at the Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home in Deerfield Beach, FL on May 21. He is interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
