VIOLA CHRISTINA DIEHL (nee SMITH) Passed away at the Rose Memorial Hospital in Lindsay ON, on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at the age of 70 years, Viola Christian Diehl (nee Smith) of Pontypool ON, formerly of Cypress River, MB. Vi leaves to mourn her passing son Brad and wife Carol of Dryden, ON, daughter Valerie and husband Howard Leader of Guelph, ON, grandchildren, Shannon, Kayla, Adam, and Ryan; sister, Mary Kerr of Victoria, BC, brothers, Charlie and Ethel Smith of Edmonton, AB, Bob and Isabelle Smith of Carberry, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Vi was predeceased by her husband Dewarren in 1989, parents Bill (1967) and Viola (1995). A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cypress River United Church with Rev. Jim Penhale officiating. Interment will take place in the Glencoe Cemetery.
