Ricky will be fondly remembered by his parents, Francisco and Maria; and sister Diane. He leaves to cherish his memory, his grandmother Helena; aunts, Teresa (George) godmother Benvinda (John), Laura (Tony), Conceicao (Joe), Maria (Rogerio) in Bermunda, Lenor (John) uncles, Carlos (Lucy) in Portugal, Amancio (Maria Diogo) and Antonio (Virginia) in Fall River, Joao Luis (Lucia) godfather Emanuel and numerous cousins as well as close friends. Ricky was born on May 25, 1980 in Winnipeg, MB. He was a loving son to his parents and a caring friend and brother to his sister, Diane. Ricky enjoyed life and lived life to its fullest. He was always there for his family and friends. Ricky and Diane had a special bond. He looked after his sister and always protected her. Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 29 at 8:00 p.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church at 748 Keewatin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, with Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H., V.F officiating. Entombment to follow in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
