KAREN LYNNE ROMAN Peacefully on May 25, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer, Karen passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 40. She was predeceased by her father R. Vernon Fish. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Russell Roman; her children, Robyn and Scott; mother Edith Fish; brother David (Linda) sisters, Joan (Wally), Barbara (Tom) in-laws, Bill and Georgina, Judy, Arlene (Rob), Brent; as well as her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. She enjoyed volunteering at Heritage Elementary School and spending her summers at the lake. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Eleanor Brownlee officiating. The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Pat Harris, Grace Hospital Oncology, the Riverview Health Centre and the nurses and staff on 4 West at the Grace Hospital Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
