JOHN KARL BRAUN On Wednesday, May 28, 2003, John Braun peacefully passed away at Grace Hospital. John was born July 5, 1929 in Poland and came to Canada on August 20, 1948. He worked at Dycks Containers until 1985 when his health declined. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Erika, his daughter Alice (Phil), grandson Jamie, son Charlie and granddaughter Ashley. Our husband, father and grandfather will be fondly remembered as a loving, kind and generous man who always gave to others before himself. He had a wonderful sense of fun and humour which always brightened our days. We will forever miss his laughter and stories he shared with us. The family sincerely thanks the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care. A viewing will take place Sunday, June 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 2 at Neil Bardal Inc, with interment at Glen Eden Cemetery.
