ELIZABETH (BETTY) GREER August 29, 1932 - May 27, 2003 Peacefully, with her family by her side, Elizabeth (Betty) Greer passed away at the Concordia Hospital on Tuesday, May 27 at the age of 70 years. Betty was born in Ethelbert, MB. Betty enjoyed life to the fullest whether it was travelling to Ottawa with Suzie, her dog, by her side, winning card games over her sisters, gardening, playing bingo, dancing and most of all making her quilts. She will be sadly missed by her children, Reta (Leonard), John (Donna), Brant (Cathy), Garry, Debbie (Russell). She is also survived by her sisters, Marie (Len), Vicky, Sylvia, Stella (Richard), Elaine (Leonard) her brother Morris (Irene), Victor (Diane) and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Her companion Mac McArthur, her parents and two brothers, predeceased Betty. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at 3 West Concordia Hospital for all their support. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bettys honour to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
