Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE EDINBOROUGH It is with deep regret, that we annouce the death on May 28, 2003 of George Edinborough aged 82, dearly beloved husband, father and grandfather. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Irma; daughter Heather (Wayne) son Robert; grandson Paul Cooper (fiancee Anne) and granddaughter Erica. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Winona Van Haute, Dorothy (Fred) Jones, Agnes (Ken) Andrews, Elva (Wally) Bayn; sisters-in-law, Ethel Coakes and Fran Duffey; brother-in-law Glen Nowlin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. George was a veteran of the Second World War and he proudly participated in the Dieppe Raid of August 1942. When he returned home he worked for the Federal Government and retired after many years of service. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Grace Hospital for the compassionate care shown to George during his illness. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Interment and reception will follow. If friends so desire, a donation in Georges name may be made to a charity of their choice. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
