SOLANGE LAMBERT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Solange Lambert, nee Levasseur, at Victoria General Hospital on May 28, 2003. Born and raised in Manitoba, Solange and late husband Camille moved to British Columbia in 1974, where they finished raising their family, and then enjoyed their retirement. Solange came back to Winnipeg in April of this year for a holiday, where she became ill and was hospitalized. She leaves her children, Lorraine (Frank), Philip, Raymond (Debbie), Jeanette (Keith), Gerard (Laura), Cecile (Bob), Raynald (Crystal), Louise (Mike), Claire (Jim), Gisele (Ray), Paul (Sharon), Bernadette (Peter) 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; one brother Honore Levasseur; two sisters, Alma Demoissac and Sister Stella Levasseur; two sisters-in-law, Denise Granger and Marie Riel; three brothers-in-law, Albert, Armand and Lucien Lambert; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Camille and daughter Cecile. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Drs. Lala and Salem, to the very caring staff of Unit 5N, to Aunty Marie, Aunty Marguerite and to the many family members and friends who visited, prayed and offered comfort to our family during this difficult time. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Antoine Vo Van Hoa at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, at St. Norbert Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. "Mom, Grandma, we love you and we will miss you."
