ROBERT FRASER TURRIFF The family of Bob Turriff is deeply saddened by his untimely passing, on Wednesday, May 28, 2003. Bob left this life the same way he lived it, quickly and without fanfare. He is survived by his loving wife Judy; daughter Sheri (Kerry) grandchildren, Bobby, Holly and Daniel; mother Margaret; siblings, Don (Elke), Susan (Allan), Linda, Lori (Rick), Raymond; and Judys family, mother-in-law Mary Kozak, Jane (Ray), Jeri, Len (Rose), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Bobby; father Stan; father-in-law Len Kozak and brother-in-law George LaRiviere. Bob was a quiet, selfless soul. He lived a life full of dreams, always looking forward to the next challenge or new business venture. His love of the outdoors provided him with many quiet times out in his fishing boat, never worrying if he caught a fish or not. He loved his cottage at Flanders Lake and spent many enjoyable days there with his family. His birds and dogs were very special to him and this affinity for animals led him to the Humane Society, where he volunteered many hours of his time. Family was the most important thing to Bob, his love for Judy was unfailing. He was always there when needed and never had to be asked. His passing has left a giant hole in all of our hearts and we will miss him terribly. Rest in Peace. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with Deacon Rob Weibe officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, would be appreciated. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
