Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH L. GUMBS Peacefully on, May 29, 2003, Joseph L. Gumbs passed away, with his wife by his side, at the age of 74. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doris; children, Jose (Dexter) Richardson with Terrance, Judy (Kevin) Bush, Cameron (Melanie) Gumbs and Joslyn Gumbs; along with extended family and friends. Joseph worked at the Health Sciences Centre and Misericordia Hospital as a carpenter. He was very active at his church and involved with ministry in nursing homes and at the prison. Joseph was loved by all who knew him. Viewing service will be held on Thursday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, at 1:00 p.m., also at the church. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
