Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAPTAIN KEVIN LEE "NASTY" NAISMITH, CD On May 26, 2003 Captain Kevin Lee "Nasty" Naismith, CD of Cold Lake, AB passed away suddenly near Burnt Lake, AB at the age of 38 years. Kevin is deeply loved and survived by his wife Belinda of Cold Lake, AB; three children, Adam, Arina and Halsey of Cold Lake, AB; stepmother Ruth Naismith of Orillia, ON; two brothers, Brent Naismith of Coldwater, ON, Dean (Carmen) Naismith of North Bay, ON; sister Mindee Naismith of Yellowknife, NT; parents-in-law, Leigh and Darlene Skinner of Medicine Hat, AB; brother-in-law Stewart Skinner of Airdrie, AB; two sisters-in-law, Shannon Skinner of Toronto, ON, Tara (Jerry) Mojelski of Sundre, AB; as well as one niece, numerous nephews, cousins and other relatives. Kevin was predeceased by his father William Elgin Naismith and mother Irene Jean (Ferguson). A Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 30, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. from the J. J. Parr Centre, 4 Wing Cold Lake, Cold Lake, AB, with Padre Bernie Thompson officiating. Cremation followed the service. Honorary pallbearers were Cst. Matt McIsaac, Jeff Emms, Capt. James "Buca" Kettles, Capt. Greg "Bender" Bend, Capt. Brian "Skid" Morrissette, Capt. Nick "Grizz" Griswold, Capt. Steve "Kramer" Valko, Capt. Darwin "Mac" MacMillan.
