MARJORIE MAY McDONALD In the early hours of Thursday, June 12, 2003 Marnie passed away peacefully at home. She will be sadly missed by her husband Toby, her three daughters, Trish (Emil), Lynda (David), Bobbi (David), her son Bill and her sister Patricia. Mom dearly loved her grandchildren, Justin, Jeffrey, Jodean, Conrad, Steven, Michael, Robert, Todd, Tara, Michelle and Jenny May and adored her great granddaughters, Mackenzie, Madison and Tatiana. Marnie grew up in Winnipeg, where she attended St. Marys Academy and graduated from the University of Manitoba with degrees in Home Economics and Interior Design. She worked for the Winnipeg Tribune most of her working years and retired with Toby to Arizona where they lived very happily for many years, returning to Winnipeg in 1996. She lived her life for those she loved and those she remembered. God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart. -Toby From time to time, when each of us has to find a little more strength and we dont know where it will come from, we will think of you, and it will be there. And from time to time, when each of us might feel like quitting, we will think of you and we will go on. You gave us everything for all of your life and for all our lives, each of us will be better for it. -Toby, Bill, Trish, Lynda, Bobbi, Patricia For my "4" When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears. And for my sake and in my name, live on and do all things the same. And never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky. -Mom It was Marnies wish that there not be a funeral service. She has been cremated and friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at 313 Winterton, East Kildonan on Tuesday June 17 from 1-4 p.m. Mom loved animals and it was her wish that if you so desire you can make a donation to the Humane Society in her name.
