Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER "BILL" OZUK The family announces the sudden passing of Walter "Bill" Ozuk who passed away at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his parents, and by his two sisters and their husbands, Anne (Alex) Krul and Mary (Bob) Adams. Bill leaves to mourn his loving wife Virginia (nee Vidruk) of 50 years, children, Beverley and Gary (Kim) grandchildren, Heather, Kevin, Greg, Devin, Ryan and Travis; and great-grandchild Ally. Also one brother John (Betty) and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill worked numerous jobs including Eatons, flour mill, Grain Exchange and most recently at the Bank of Canada retiring in 1980. Walter loved to spend time at the cottage in his early years, as well as hunting and fishing. Later in life after retiring, he found happiness gardening, doing yardwork and fixing "little things" for his family and neighbours. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family and by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at 1:00 p.m. from Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons, Winnipeg with a gathering of family and friends to follow in the Desjardins Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bills memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
