Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHOWARD ARNOLD CLIFFORD It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather Howard at the age of 86, on June 3, 2003 at Golden Links Lodge in Winnipeg. Howard was predeceased by his loving wife Joan; parents, Charles and Hattie Clifford and brothers, Lloyd, Alvin and Lester and sister Winona. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Erin; son Lyle (Lorraine) grandchildren, Jamie and Sean Edwardson and Nicole and Scott Clifford; sisters, Pearl, Delilah (Roy), Nelda (Nev) and Betty. Howard was born in Teulon, MB on November 28, 1916. He served in the RCAF during the Second World War. After the War, Howard settled in the Starbuck area where he met and married Joan Regner. Howard made his living as a carpenter, building approximately 62 homes in the surrounding area. Howard enjoyed working until his health failed in October of 2001. At that time he moved in Winnipeg where he has since resided. Erin and Lyle will always remember his stories and silly sayings. Others will remember that he believed what he said and was never afraid to say it. You are with your Joan now, where you wanted to be. Be at peace Dad. We loved you dearly. We would like to thank Pallbearers, Bill Johnson, Bryan Norton, Victor Dyck, Doug Johnson, Don Poulson, Larry Cocquyt. Honorary Pallbearers, Roy Livingston and Ethel Ammeter. Many, many thanks to the caring staff at Golden Links Lodge, who made Dads stay there enjoyable and comfortable. Viewing to be held on Friday, June 6 at 12:30 p.m. in the Starbuck United Church with funeral services beginning at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Peter Mitchell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golden Links Lodge, 2280 St. Marys Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2N 3Z6. "May The Work Ive Done Speak For Me."
