MARION ANNA FUNK November 14, 1926 - June 1, 2003 Marion passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at the Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie, with her family at her side. Marion was predeceased by her husband, William; her parents Ernest and Margaret Studer and her brothers, Larry and Jim Studer. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her daughter Karen (John) Lenaghan and their children, Michael and Matthew; daughter Caroline Funk (Don Gervan) sons Jim and David Funk (Dina Middleton). She is also survived by her aunt Dorothy Herzog; her brothers and sisters, Lionel, Lil, Wilf, Audrey, Gary, Duff, Shirley and Dorothy; as well as numerous other relatives and good friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marions memory to Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. Interment and reception to follow.
