YVETTE CECILE PEARSON (nee BESSETTE) 1939 - 2003 It is with profound sorrow that the family announces the passing of Yvette, on Monday June 2, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 64 years. She will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 44 years, David; her children, Jeff, Cheryl, and Rick, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandson Nicholas; sister Lucy and husband Ed, their children, Wayne (Gail), Karen, Colleen (Jim) and their families; brother-in-law Barry and his wife Maria and their family; sister-in-law Viney and her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Yvonne Bessette. Yvette worked for 23 years as an Office Manager for Corrections Canada Parole. She had a passion for travelling, with trips to Hawaii, Europe, Mexico, Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. She also enjoyed spending her summers at the family cottage in the Whiteshell. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Visitation will take place one-half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Yvettes memory to CancerCare Manitoba, O Blk-409 Tache Ave. Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. The family would like to thank Lori and the rest of the staff at CancerCare, St. Boniface Hospital as well as the many family and friends who provided support during her illness.
