Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARLE GEORGE BARLOW July 24, 1940 - May 5, 2003 Suddenly, May 5, 2003 Earle passed away in Kananaskis, AB. He is survived, and sadly missed, by his wife Lyn; two sisters, Gail (Al) Langdale of Winnipeg and Gwen (Ken) Knight of Calgary; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends in both Winnipeg and Alberta. He was predeceased by both parents, George and Ilya Barlow. Earle grew up and lived in the Charleswood area where he worked as a mechanic for many years. He also spent 15 years on the Dewline, NWT. He had been employed as lead mechanic at Fortress Mountain Ski Hill in Kananaskis for the past 7 years, until the time of his death. A small memorial was held at Fortress on May 13 by friends and co-workers. He is remembered as a loyal, dedicated hard worker and, as many know, for his dry wit and sense of humour. In accordance with Earles wishes, there will be no service. Private interment has already taken place. I wish to extend my many thanks and gratitude to Judy Almdal and Doug in Calgary; Carole and Glen Stevens in Leduc, AB; to Ryan Skura in Fortress, who watched over things and fed the birds; also to my boss, Bill Langdon, for his care and concern in getting me out to Alberta as quick as he did. Earle, always loved and always remembered. Donations in Earles memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 and the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
