DOROTHY BREISCH (nee BERGMANS) Dorothy Jean, better known as Dort, died on June 5, 2003 at Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg at the age of 73 years. Dorts life was marked by love, enthusiasm and service. Her caring nature found expression in a long and fruitful career in nursing. Her joyous sparkle enriched the lives of all who met her and she reflected the love of God in a most positive way. She will be deeply missed by her husband Frank; her four children and their spouses, David (Nan), Jim (Diane), Mary (Cor) deGruyter and Sue (Josh) Alden; her eight beloved grandchildren, Rachel (Marcus), Alicia (James), Christopher, Cyndi, Alanna, Nathan, Joshua and Erin and three great-grandchildren, Calvin, Noah and Aaron; and her sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Millie and Bob Snyder, Marilyn and Dale Mohr, Gloria and Ian Bryson, Joan and Rayven Lambert; and cousins, nephews and nieces. Memorial Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 61 Picardy Pl., Winnipeg on Tuesday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. and at First Presbyterian Church, 2170 Albert St., Regina, SK on Tuesday, June 17 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name may be designated to Presbyterian World Services and Development, c/o either of those churches.
