EVA KUHTEY (NEE SWYNAR) January 3, 1922 - June 6, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva at St. Boniface Hospital surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Eva was predeceased by her husband Joseph, parents, Mary and Theodore; brothers, Stanley, Lazar, Paul, and John; sisters, Katie, Sophie, Anne, Nettie, as well as her infant sister Eva. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Mary Joanne, Theresa, and Irene; son Philip (Valarie) and granddaughters, Erin and Emily; sister Helen Michalyshyn and brother Leonard Swynar; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was a loving, generous person, who gave freely of herself. She took great joy in her family, especially her granddaughters, Erin and Emily. She was a devoted and active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. We thank Drs. Mehta, Moltzen, and Crawford, as well as the nurses and support staff for their care and kindness towards Mom and the family. Flowers gratefully declined. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. All services will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 390 Marion St., Winnipeg.
