PELAGIA (HELEN) LANZ (nee STADNYK) It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Pelagia Lanz on June 4, 2003, at the age of 78 years. Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Kristine Jaska and husband Bob, Linda Matwyczuk and husband Taras; and her grandchildren, Derek, Kandyce and Alexa. Mom was predeceased by her husband John, her eldest daughter Stephania. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral service will be held at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Michael, 110 Disraeli St., at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, with Very Rev. John Melnyk officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery. And God Said I said, "God, I hurt." And God said, "I know." I said,"God, I cry a lot." And God said, "Thats why I gave you tears." I said, "God, life is so hard," And God said, "Thats why I gave you loved ones." I said, "God, my loved one died." And God said, "So did mine." I said, "God, it is such a loss." And God said, "They nailed mine to the cross." I said, "God, but your loved one lives." And God said, "So does yours." I said, "God, where are they now?"
