JOYCE E. SHARON (nee JOSEPHINE EDELINE WOYTOWICH) Peacefully on June 5, 2003, Joyce passed away at St. Adolphe Nursing Home at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her husband Stan; sister Rose; and brothers, Paul and Frank. Joyce is survived by her sister Ann McGuire and Mel McGuire (brother-in-law) Anne Woytowich (sister-in-law) Ludvic Bartmanovich (brother-in-law) Stella and Stan Sobiech, sister-in-law and brother-in-law), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joyce was born in St. Norbert, MB on January 5, 1926 and married Stanley Sharon in June, 1948. Together they moved and spent most of their lives in Los Angeles. Joyce loved her flowers, her many pets, sewing and entertaining friends and family as well as painting and cake decorating. Most important in her life was her husband Stanley, they truly lived their lives for each other. She returned to Winnipeg in May of 1998. A special thank you to the staff at Thorvaldsons Care Center and St. Adolphe Personal Care Home for the care they provided. A funeral mass will be held at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr. on Thursday, June 12 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception will follow at the Chapel Lawn Center.
