THERESA MARIE MORDUE We are sad to announce the passing of Theresa (Terri) Mordue on June 5, 2003 in Langley. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Jack, her son Mark (Marlene), brother Aime (June) Tessier of Sudbury, ON, sisters, Lucille (Barrie) Sanders of Carman, MB and Estelle Struck of Prince George, BC; niece Lynne Clark; nephews, Ronnie and Paul Sanders, Brad and Bud Struck, Rene, Gary and Murray Tessier; and other relatives and friends. Her brother Raymond predeceased her in 1975. Terri was Provincial Champion of Manitoba in water skiing for six years and came 2nd in trick skiing in the Canadian Nationals. She competed in snowmobile races, winning two Canadian Championships. During the equestrian phase of her life she competed in the Western Canada Games in 1975 and 1979 in Three Day Eventing. She was a member of the Manitoba Springfield Hunt and Winnipeg Horsemans Club. Her favourite horse Topaz won seven Canadian Equestrian Federation awards as hunter. Jack and Terri moved to Langley, BC from Manitoba in 1980 and became avid golfers. Terri won the gold medal at the British Columbia Senior Games in 2000, a bronze in 2001 and gold in 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 20675-87 Ave., Langley followed by interment. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society, Langley Unit, 202-20434-64 Ave., Langley, BC V2Y 1N4. HENDERSONS FUNERAL HOME 604-530-6488
