Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM ZBOROWSKY Peacefully, with family by his side, Bill Zborowsky passed away on June 8, 2003. He was born on January 6, 1927 in Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Olga, and daughter Patricia; son and daughter-in-law Gerry and Karyn and their children, Karl, Braden and Dayna; brother Walter with wife Elizabeth; and brother John. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and John Zborowsky and his brother Myron. He attended Isaac Newton School and later attended the University of Winnipeg where he received his B.Ed in 1980. After he worked at Winnipeg Paint and Glass Company for 20 years, he changed professions and began his second career of teaching. He taught at R. B. Russell Vocation School and Maples Collegiate for 23 years, retiring in June 1990. He was an avid gardener and photographer. Enjoyed travelling to Florida, Las Vegas and especially to Honolulu, Hawaii for the past 13 years. After retirement he took up painting of oils and pastels as a hobby. He was Past President of St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church and an usher at church. He was Past Faithful Navigator of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was also Past President and member of the Mentors Club. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, June 10 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
