Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON CAMPBELL KENNEDY On Monday, June 9, 2003, Gordon Kennedy aged 91 years passed away at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon. Dad was born in Winnipeg on October 12, 1911 and moved to Teulon with his family at an early age. In 1934 Dad married our mom Irene Norquist, who predeceased him in 1988. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Ruth and husband Gordon Watson of Teulon, Lois and husband Bill Ritchie of Argyle; and son Jack Kennedy of Cathedral City, CA; and James Condon also of Cathedral City; four grandchildren, Ken (Brenda) Watson, Rob (Kim) Watson of Teulon, Randy (Carol) Ritchie of Argyle, Heather (Bryan) Oughton of Stonewall; seven great-grandsons, Jason, Ryan, Bradley and Matthew Ritchie of Argyle, Jonathan, Kenton and Brandon Watson of Teulon. Also surviving is his brother Ed and wife Dorothy and their son Brian of Sidney, BC; also two special nieces, Shirley MacLean of Coos Bay, OR and Beverly Campbell of Lake Arrowhead, CA; Edward Kennedy of British Columbia; and Harry Robinson of Blaine, WA. Dad drove a school van for a period of 34 years and spoke fondly of all the children. He enjoyed his garden, animals, music and played the violin for many country school dances, weddings and in later years along with friends, entertained at Rosewood Lodge and Goodwin Lodge. Dads family meant a lot to him as well as his many friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Norman and Morris (Ida) and his sister Mabel (Harry) Robinson. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Rev. Ken Anstie will officiate. Interment will follow in the Norris Lake Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Goodwin Lodge for sitting room furniture or the Teulon United Church, Teulon, MB R0C 3B0 or a charity of your choice.
