EARLE JOHNSON 1927 - 2003 Peacefully on June 8, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Earle Johnson passed away with his family at his side. He was born in Ignace, ON to Julia and Sidney Johnson and moved to Winnipeg at a young age. He married Elaine Semenko in 1951 and together they raised their children, Vance and Gail and enjoyed many years of travel, family and friends. Predeceased by Elaine, Earle married Agnes Forbes in 1985 and spent many more years travelling and enjoying friendships in the Sons of Scotland, and membership in Acacia Lodge of the Order of Free Masons and the Shrine where he participated in the Vintage Car Club. Earle spent his working career with M.T.S. in the outside plant and engineering departments where he was known for his unwavering attention to detail, and his divining ability. He retired as an engineering associate in 1987. He will be deeply missed by his wife Agnes; sister Hazel Whitta of Kenora; children; Vance Johnson, Gail and Hal Ryckman, Isabel and Ron Habing, Louise and Roy Huzel, Lewis and Deborah Forbes, as well as numerous grand-children, nieces, nephews and dear and cherished friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. A luncheon will follow the service.
